If, like me, you’ve always stayed clear of the Collection 2000 stand then you may not have experienced the Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer. Collection boast that it conceals imperfections for up to 16 hours, and although the thought of wearing makeup for that long makes my skin hurt, I actually think they might be right.
For a ‘drugstore’ concealer it really does give incredible coverage. It hides blemishes and redness really well but doesn’t feel cakey and heavy which is a bonus. Be warned though, this concealer does an amazing job at highlighting dry skin so use with caution unless well moisturised.
The concealer comes with a little doe foot applicator which does the job, however I tend to use it to dab the product in the general area rather than using it to blend (that’s what fingers are for).
‘Lasting perfection’ may be a bit of a stretch, but this concealer does last a very long time. I personally haven’t tried it for the full 16 hours that it claims, however I do find that it lasts longer than other concealers I’ve tried. Also, I haven’t found that the concealer creases or clumps at all – even if it’s been in creasy places like under the eye.
