Game of Thrones
I’m not usually one for dragons and knights but Game of Thrones really just does it for me. The story itself is compelling and is full of plot-twists that keep you immersed in each episode. It’s one of those shows that you have to binge-watch, meaning that waiting for the next season is agonising.
Suits is a fancier, more suited and booted,, version of Game of Thrones – with Harvey Spector Litt seeing more hostile takeovers than Cersei could ever dare to imagine. It essentially evolves around an extremely intelligent person making some pretty stupid life decisions.
If you need more of a reason to watch a TV show other than just Zooey Deschanel then you’re going about life all wrong. New Girl is a hilarious and adorable show that demonstrates how adults still struggle with being adults.
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo
Alana and Mama June are my guilty pleasures and each episode has me cackling. Some may say its trashy TV, but give me this over all other reality TV shows any day.
Orange is the New Black
Orange is the New Black contains a large cast of incredibly talented actresses (and a few actors), the show slowly tells you all of their stories as well as focusing on their relationships with each other – which are sometimes a little strained.
As soon as I heard that John Watson had been replaced by Joan Watson I instantly recoiled and vowed not to watch some American knock off of Sherlock. However, I ultimately gave in and quickly became obsessed with Elementary and its New York setting.
I also have a list of what series I’m planning on binge-watching next:
- Stranger Things
- Peaky Blinders
- Penny Dreadful
Are there any more that I should add?
